WideGrep, Text search utility that can search MS-Word files (Ibaraki) -(2000) A fast and user-friendly text search utility for MS Windows 95/98/NT. WideGrep searches the given files for paragraphs containing a match to a given text list. When it finds a match in a paragraph, it shows the paragraph with contexts on the screen. File formats supported by Widegrep, in addition to text files, are MS-Word format, Rich text format and HTML format. Those format files that contain Japanese character set (SIFT-JIS) are supported. It is much easier and friendly and functional rather than GREP. Search techniqe for Help files will be descrived.
