Japan Nagasaki, Love and Peace Zone, Urakami (Saitama) - Nagasaki nowadays is good sightseeing spot in Kyushu Island, Southern Japan. This Urakami District is called Love and Peace Zone Main spots are Urakami Cathedral and Peace Park. Huge Statue of Peace was made by Mr. Seibo Kitamura of Nagasaki-born creater. It is 9.7 meter high, 30 ton weight and made of bronze. It was completed on August 9, 1955. There are many statues in the Peace Park and most of them were gifts from other countries.
